Healthy Grilling Recipes For Summer

It’s time to fire up our Weber grill and start spending more time outdoors because summer is here! In year’s past, our summer barbecues would include all of the traditional fare: hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixings, greasy French fries, roasted potato and corn salad, and lots of refreshing watermelon and marshmallow skewers for dessert.

This past year, we’ve decided to be a lot more health conscious and have changed the way we eat by adopting a more plant-based diet. But we don’t buck with tradition and barbecuing is a way of life for us, especially over the summer. I’ve spent the past couple of weeks searching online for delicious vegetarian and vegan grilling recipes for our family barbecues.

What I’ve discovered is that there’s no shortage of delicious recipes that will still give us that smoky barbecue taste and flavor, just minus the meat. If I can’t manage to convince the kids that these vegan carrot dogs are just as good as their favorite hot dogs, there will still be plenty of fresh watermelon and marshmallow skewers to go around!
