Black: Design on the “Dark Side”

Alyssa Cole

From the starless skies of an urban landscape to the menacing raven in Edgar Allen Poe’s famous poem, the color black inspires vivid thoughts and emotions. And I, for one, am obsessed with it!

This shade immortalized the characteristics of classic and cool with the iconic “little black dress” and the rebellious black leather jacket. Modern and classic touches of black in home décor can also make a bold statement without going overboard.  In the end, you’ll see that taking a trip to the “dark side” is more charming than you thought.
