Mohawk Home’s Holiday Home Blog Tour 2020

Andrea Baker

Welcome to the fourth annual Mohawk Home Holiday Home Tour! This year we partnered with four fabulous bloggers who festively decked their homes showcasing our rugs from Mohawk Home. Each with their own unique style and holiday spirit, these rooms range from rustic traditional decor to magical winter wonderlands. Keep scrolling to see how these bright and cozy rooms were expertly designed.

Home on Poplar Creek

We love the holiday cheer Nichole brought to her kids’ playroom this season! This is the perfect space and rug for crafting, playing, and making memories. Nichole opted for the neutral and symmetrical styled Sahana Black and White area rug. Crafted with premium Wear-Dated nylon yarn, this rug is designed with superior stain resistance for those “uh oh” accident moments. Easy to spot clean with a solution of mild detergent and water as needed. She added pops of color with a DIY rainbow pom-pom Christmas tree and framed holiday wrapping paper to deck her walls. Visit Nichole’s blog, Home on Poplar Creek, to see more of this playful and festive room!

The Honeycomb Home

Roxanne from The Honeycomb Home brought in a taste of the outdoors with her rustic woodland inspired living room. Her tree is decorated with beautiful natural ornaments made of dried eucalyptus buds, magnolia leaves, and pine cones topped off with a wooden nativity star. She chose the Vintage Distressed neutral area rug with grey and warm gold accents to compliment the neutral hues in her living room. The whitewashed brick fireplace lit by candlelight, draped with garland and stockings, truly makes for a timeless, rustic, and cozy place for her family and fur babies to gather. Read Roxanne’s blog to see more on how she created this picturesque room.

Unexpected Elegance

Angela makes holiday decorating look simple yet festive. She invites you into her neutral-toned, cozy living room sprinkled with holiday cheer. Bright warm lights twinkle from her tree, while stockings and garland are hung and tied off with red ribbon. Angela created an effortless and classic setting for friends and family to celebrate the season. Soft colors of grey and beige cover the Greenvale Fleck woven rug in which she chose to dress the floor. Perfectly blending with her white sectional, neutral throw pillows, and framed rocky mountain canvas. To see more of this space, check out Angela’s blog here

Taryn Whiteaker

Truly walking in a magical winter wonderland! Taryn redesigned her daughter’s bedroom this year with a winter refresh. With just a few small changes she was able to achieve this soft yet sparkling look! This room is embellished with a wintry mix of white, blue, and cream hues, while twinkle lights glisten from the ceiling creating an enchanting oasis. As a final addition, she rolled out the Scott Living Eastway Dove area rug. The rug’s distressed details and coloring ties this dreamy room together while offering a soft and cozy touch.
